Gentamicin Sulfate Injection I looked it up, here's the breakdown for dogs: Specifications: Each milliliter of sterile aqueous solution contains the equivalent of 50 milligrams of gentamicin. Tylan Injections Someone asked me about this drug. Figured I would post here as well to share with everyone else. Tylan is often the Rx name for the Tylosin. The Rx for dogs is Tylan® Injection 200 mg; Tylan® Injection 50 mg which is pure Tylosin. Here's the breakdown... Amount: 3 to 5 milligrams intramuscularly per pound of body weight at 12- to 24-hour intervals. Indications: Treatment of upper respiratory infections such as bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, tracheitis laryngitis, tonsillitis, and pneumonia caused by Staphylococci species, hemolytic Streptococci species, and Pasteurella multocida.
